
Responding to an impressive surge in demand from Indonesian travelers to Switzerland, Switzerland Tourism is thrilled to launch its Winter Campaign after witnessing a remarkable 69% increase in overnights from January to September 2023 compared to the same period in 2022. This robust growth is anticipated to continue in the coming years.
In a bid to cater to the escalating interest in Switzerland, Switzerland Tourism has rolled out its winter campaign, titled the “Grand Train Tour of Switzerland.” The campaign, featuring Switzerland Tourism’s esteemed brand ambassador, Roger Federer, aims to entice more Indonesian travelers to explore Switzerland sustainably by leveraging the country’s efficient public transport system. The campaign has been strategically launched across Switzerland Tourism’s social media channels and various out-of-home platforms, including digital screens in over 1,000 commercial and premium condominiums in the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area.
A focal point of the campaign is the prominent display of a special bus shelter installation located at FX Sudirman in Jakarta. This unique installation seeks to immerse visitors in the enchanting beauty of Switzerland, inviting them to embark on a virtual train journey through the winter landscapes. The bus shelter installation is open for public engagement from November 15 to December 15, 2023. Passersby can interact with the exhibit through a designated QR code, leading them to an engaging interactive game. Participants stand a chance to win one of three Swiss Travel Passes, offering an opportunity to experience the breathtaking Swiss landscapes firsthand.
