atmos BRINGS TOKYO’S STREETWEAR SPIRIT TO BANDUNG’S CREATIVE SCENE

atmos, the cult-favorite streetwear and sneaker retailer from Tokyo, has officially landed in Bandung with the grand opening of its newest flagship store at 23 Paskal.

More than just a retail launch, the event was a vibrant tribute to the city’s creative pulse and deep-rooted sneaker culture.

Long hailed as Indonesia’s streetwear capital, Bandung is home to a generation that sees sneakers not just as fashion, but as identity. atmos embraced this spirit by unveiling a space that blends Japanese aesthetics with local energy. Inspired by the traditional Machiya houses of Kyoto, the store’s interior fuses heritage architecture with modern urban flair, creating a warm, immersive shopping experience.

The highlight? The Otaku Room, which is a curated corner where guests can sip hand-drip coffee by Fuglen, enjoy matcha and Japanese cream soda, and browse collectible items that reflect atmos’ Tokyo roots.

Bandung has always been a cultural powerhouse,” said Herlina Winardo, Brand Manager of atmos Indonesia. “This store is our way of connecting with the city’s creative heartbeat and offering a space where fashion, art, and community meet.”

To mark the occasion, atmos launched its “Local Hero” campaign, spotlighting four influential Bandung creatives: Dendy Darman, Arin Sunaryo, Rekti Yoewono, and Syagini Ratna Wulan. Each brought their unique voice to the celebration, reinforcing the idea that sneakers are a canvas for expression, more than just a lifestyle.

With this new flagship, atmos continues to grow its presence in Indonesia, offering a go-to destination for those who appreciate design, storytelling, and the evolving language of streetwear.
