BottegaVeneta Women’s Cruise 2013/2014

Embracing the relaxed yet feminine silhouette, the collection is one of ease and informal elegance.

There’s something very effortless about the resort collection, with a color palette that incorporates both neutrals and bold colors; including various shades of red, walnut and alabaster. The lightweight and layered materials are at times block-printed or embellished with lace or fringes to complement the flowing look. Handbags come in two-toned, unconstructed goatskin and smaller, angular bags. Creative director Tomas Maier continues to stress the handmade aesthetic, resulting with raffia plaits commissioned in Morocco to give that raw, crafty edge on brogues, loafers and kitten heels which in turn highlight the entire collection.
