An inauguration of Lasalle College Jakarta, the Lasalle College Jakarta Celebration 2015, was recently held in Senayan City’s The Hall on 17 April 2015 to present 183 of the best Lasalle College Students’ designs, creations, and interative activities.
This event was divided into two sessions; the first session was a graduation ceremony followed by the awarding of best students of each program, while the second session features a fashion show by the college’s Fashion Design major, showcasing their latest collections.
Outside the hall, the Lasalle Project Exhibition was held to showcase the students’ artistic makeup artwork, digital media, photo exhibitions, installations and also interior design.
The main inspiration of the event, Acculturation, celebrates the amalgamation of two cultures in Indonesia, especially the cultural assimilation between Javanese and Chinese heritage still found in cities in Central Java.
