Women’s beauty and elegance was the theme of Musa’s “wanita” collection for his show at the Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival 2016.
“Wanita” was a one-man show that was also a tribute for Musa’s 25 years of career in Indonesia’s fashion industry. The diversity of character, age, culture and other elements were translated by Musa in his beautiful design creation with a gorgeous fashion label called M by Musa.
Using thousands of materials as details that were inspired by Musa’s collections, some using organdy fabric and all were displayed in the design and detail of different fabrics. Lace embroidery, embroidered floral motif, and leatherback flower adorned the “Wanita” collection, enhanced with decorative detail glass bead.
With “Wanita”, Musa presented a smart cocktail dress collection of diverse styles, colors and materials of different types such as shades of black and white to red to gold. Selection of materials presented with many types of lace, organdy, organza, duchess, chiffon, shantung and others.
In this collection, Musa also presented scarves, with embroidery and gorgeous colors. All very slick and matches any of the “Wanita” collection.
