During Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week 2016, Alleira Batik presented its latest collection with the theme of “The Voyage”. Believing that what you wear remains important even when you are an avid traveler, the ever modern style of Alleira Batik was unmistakable with the bomber jackets, blazers, shirts with wide sleeves, pleated pants and long coats among others.
The color theme varied from yellow and peach to green and grey, but dark blue was constantly present throughout the runway show, both as a dominant presence or a dash of contrast. New, contemporary batik motifs were combined with classic motifs like kawung and parang, created through a hand-stamping technique to enhance the silk, cotton and cotton drill fabrics.
