The famous premium cheese tart company, Pablo has finally opened its first outlet in Jakarta. The premium cheese tart from Japan is now available to tingle your tastebuds with its deliciously soft and creamy melt-in-the-mouth texture and flavour.
Located on the 2nd floor of Gandaria City’s Food Street area, Pablo is ready to serve you their famous cheese tart, although you may have to endure a very long queue to get to their favorite cake such has been the demand. One of the reasons why Pablo is so special is because it is served fresh baked and uses only the finest quality ingredients.
Pablo Cheese Tart started their journey when Mr. Masamitsu Sakimoto opened Pablo’s first outlet in Osaka, Japan and since then its fame has spread rapidly. The name itself is inspired by the art master, Pablo Picasso who found fame and success with his revolutionary style of art. Based on that, Mr. Sakimoto tried to make the same thing but in the form of cheese cake revolution, combining his love of art with his culinary expertise.
Sakimoto’s goal was to serve an extraordinary cheese cake and then add a surprise element in every bite. One of his revolutionary methods was to offer his cheese tarts in different maturity levels. From rare, where the cheese runs out gooily, to a firmer, medium rare. In Indonesia however, the only offering is medium rare, but this level of maturity does give a unique and combines perfectly with the flaky, delicious crust.
The Original Cheese Tart is the signature option and Pablo’s best seller. A crunchy and tasty shell is filled with a cheese custard with a sublime balance of sweet and savoury flavor. Alternatively, the Chocolate Cheese Tart is the best choice for chocolate lovers and for those who are crazy about Matcha, then you’ll love the Matcha Cheese Tart.(Look out for the surprise element inside with Azuki (red bean) and Shiratama (Mochi) making a little bit of heaven in every bite.
Pablo’s Premium Cheese Tarts have a limited stock everyday. This special cake, made with two carefully selected kinds of cream cheese creates a luxurious dish. A touch of rich cheese flavour, a smooth texture with caramelized sugar on top look similar to a creme brulee and there’s even a Pablo Mini version, a perfect choice to enjoy the cake in bite size form.
To accompany the tarts, Pablo also offer the Frute, a smoothie inspired by the signature cheese tart. Frute is a blend of juice, cream cheese and soft cream.
