Stark Craft Beer: Golden Solution

Stark is the name and craft beer is the game.

The term ‘craft beer’ simply means that the beer is made in a traditional or non-mechanized way, by a small brewery. More often, extra care is applied to its production such as only using the best ingredients nature can provide. Now in the hands of Bona Budhisurya, Stark Craft Beer can be enjoyed in Java, Bali, Lombok, Balikpapan and will be available in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan by the end of the year.

The brewery of Stark Craft Beer was established at the mountainous base of Singaraja, Bali to obtain first-rate natural spring water, water so pure that local people are able to drink it directly from the source. The water goes through three steps of distillation to kill off any bacteria while still maintaining the existing mineral proportions. Barley, wheat, oats and hops are carefully selected from various parts of the world in order to produce a high quality beer without the need for adding corn as a supplement. Preservatives are also excluded, resulting in better taste and body. Stark Craft Beer delivers a more complex richness and delightful experience.

In essence, drinking Stark Craft Beer means drinking a symbol of passion mixed with the craftiness of a concoction’s complexity, spawning a lineup of prime quality beer to enliven the world’s beer drinking culture, including;

Wheat Beer – a Belgium style beer, mainly intended to be enjoyed in a tropical climate. The use of 50% wheat gives Stark’s Wheat Beer a powerful taste and aroma, as well as beautiful color. To deepen the palate, Stark also utilize citrus peel and coriander seed.

Dark Wheat – a mixture of Flemish Red Ale and Dunkelweizen accompanied by a touch of something local; malt, flavored and matured until dark ruby colored with a touch of chocolate and bitter roasted coffee. The thick body is perfect for any meat lover out there.

Low Carbohydrate Lager (LC Lager) – Utilizing a special enzyme to ferment more sugar resulting in a lower carbohydrate content while maintaining the flavor. The sugar ratio of LC Lager when compared to normal lager beer is 1:3. Blonde colored and hops scented with a little bit more of a bitter taste, LC Lager is an easy to drink beer.

Indonesian Pale Ale (IPA) – This twist on Indian Pale Ale employs a new technique in brewing; dry hopping, which diminishes the strong bitter taste which usually dominates IPA. Reddish in color, Stark’s IPA possesses a moderate to medium body with balanced malt flavor and hints of herbs and citrus aroma.

Mango Ale – A tropical brewery means more freedom to innovate with taste. With a cloudy golden color, fruity scented and strong mango flavor, this is a true tropical ale.

Lychee Ale – The aroma and relish of lychee coalesce perfectly with the balanced sweetness of ale. A cold glass of Stark’s Lychee Ale will remind you of the refreshing breeze of any paradise tropical island you have in mind.
