The Park Lane Hotel, Jakarta is pleased to announce the tallest christmas tree at their hotel. It consists of one thousand teddy bears,each wearing Batik Semar, a stalwart of the Indonesian Batik industry located in Central Java. The unveiling ceremony took place in the hotel lobby and was attended by guests, media, YAI (Yayasan Anyo Indonesia) founder and kids, the CEO of Batik Semar and Miss Tourism Indonesia. Adorned with 39 forsythia flowers and standing 9 meters tall and 2.65 meters in diameter, this magical christmas tree was built in 7 days and is the result of solid team work from all departments. These teddy bears are available for sale and all the funds raised will be proceed to YAI as a charitable donation.
