Plaza Indonesia invited four young artists, Abenk Alter, Ican*Agoesman, Rebellionik and Muklay, to create contemporary art installations with vibrant pop colors, using reflective media under ultraviolet light with the theme of Play in Progress. The art installations will be available until 31 July 2017 on Level 5 Plaza Indonesia to complement Pop on Plaza, an integrated pop up opportunities for retail and F&B entrepreneurs.

Abenk Alter reminds people to enjoy moments in life, allowing visitors to enter a closed room filled with integrated visual exploration with dramatic ultra violet effects. Playful doodles called fast line, inspired by street art, cover almost every surface, serving as a reminder to go with the flow in life, to not think too much. Three of Abenk’s artworks on display, Play, Team of Six and I’m a Work of Art are a collection using acrylic on wood.
Motion graphic artist and visual jockey Ican*Agoesman displays an untitled compilation video with nine of his videos, consisting of visual loops, colors, futuristic ambiance and rhythmic animation. It’s a reflection of Ican on life to enjoy each of its progress.

Muklay constructs a contemplation space for his installation Temporary Prayer. Four hanging canvases represents praying rugs, reminding visitors that praying is a progress to become better, but there are currently people who only pray when in hardships.
