For the first time since its opening last year, Potato Head Family’s Attarine Jakarta is introducing a new grand menu for lunch and dinner. In the chef-driven restaurant, Executive Chef Jacob Burrell with Chef Ismawan and Chef Aditya Muskita are always passionate in seeking soulful and interesting culinary innovations, spiced with their unique flavors and influences, to be brought onto the tables. “The new dishes, which we have introduced, are the food that we love to eat and cook,” Jacob said. “I like to think that we’re one of the friendliest and most interesting restaurants in town and a large part of that is our always evolving options.”
Notable new additions to the menu include even more starters, an expanded mains selection with a variety of meats and for the first time, pasta. Wood-Fired Edamame should be the new standard of edamame serving everywhere, with just enough spiciness from Javanese chili and lime to make them addictive. Jackfruit on Sourdough Toast has a spicy undertaste along with the more familiar citrus barbeque sauce, making the slow-cooked jackfruit’s true taste almost indiscernible in a good way. Meticulously well-made Pumpkin Gnocchi are finished with braised duck leg and curry leaves. Market Ceviche is a traditional Peruvian dish with a twist, serving ‘Fish of the Day’ marinated with turmeric, citrus and cilantro for 4-5 hours, uncooked but without a hint of fishy taste. Braised Beef Short Rib consists of 3-4 pieces of short ribs, marinated in spices for 4 days and braised for 12 hours to perfection, before being grilled, smoked and served with oyster sauce, shiitake mushrooms and pickled leeks.
The new menu also includes Bucatini Pasta, Wood-Fired Large Shrimp, Polenta Fries, Spicy-Beef Lamb Meatballs, Salad of Shaved Fennel and Melon, Crispy Chicken Strips with sweet corn pudding, Crispy Brussel Sprouts with anchovy dressing, Barbequed Squid, and Grilled Lamb Shoulder.
