♦ Tampaksiring Presidential Palace
Established by Indonesia’s first president, Soekarno, the palace is a breezy retreat from the capital’s political hustle and bustle. Overlooking Tirta Empul Temple, the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace, which was designed by architected RM Soedarsono, is also available to visit by appointment.
♦ Statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana
Located in the inner part of the GWK Cultural Park, the Garuda Wisnu statue is intended to be one of the tallest and largest modern day sculptures. Combined with its pedestal, the copper mammoth is planned to reach 120 meters in height and 64 meters with its wings spread.
♦ Warung Wardani
Offering the delectable Chicken Mixed Rice, one of Bali’s most sought after cuisines, a portion of Wardani’s Chicken Mixed Rice consists of steamed white rice, shredded chicken, Balinese Sate Lilit, battered shrimp, Balinese seasoning,a poached egg, long bean salad and sambal.
♦ Tirta Empul Temple
Famous for its holy spring water which visitors can also bathe in, the temple is a go-to site for Balinese Hindus performing their purification ritual. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly and is considered by Balinese Hindus to be a sacred site.
♦ Suluban Beach
The secluded beach is located underneath rock cliffs and ishome to surfers’ favorite waves. Suluban Beach offers visitors a remote yet reachable escape.
♦ Traditional Dance
Bali is considered to be an icon of cultural excellence. The Kecak Dance and Barong Dance offer a glimpse of Bali’s many breathtaking performances.
♦ Bali Safari and Marine Park
Home to over 16 species of land and marine animals, the zoo offers a safari bus tour around the compound as well as theatrical performances, water park, aquarium and delectable dining opyions, to mention but a few.
♦ Uluwatu Temple
Built on the edge of a 70 meter rock cliff projecting into the sea, the temple is full of mystical and romantic nuances. Uluwatu Temple is also home to a Kecak Dance performanceset in front of a bewitching sunset backdrop.
