Located just across from the Monkey Forest in Ubud is a café packed with local and international tourists and alike. No wonder, since its charming bamboo architecture comes with a modern and original Pan-Asian cuisine selection, from breakfast, lunch, and light bites to dessert, all using natural and local produce and including sustainably reared pork along with gluten free and vegan options. Among the favorites are Bahn Mi Black Pepper Chicken with liver pate and french fries with aioli, Habitat’s Quarter Pounder Burger, a 125 gram tender premium beef patty with bacon, and in the dessert department, the refreshing Gelato et Sorbetto with three scoops of Gelato Secrets’ gelato or sorbetto. Diners should also try Happy Kombucha, the healthy fermented tea served either by glass or the bottle for takeaway. It takes a bit to get used to, but a unique taste nonetheless.
