Labuan Bajo: Sun-Kissed Paradise

From thriving underwater life to marvelous peaks and the legendary komodo dragons, Labuan Bajo and its surrounding area is a one-of-a-kind destination.

Kelor Island offers the shortest hike of all the famous peak points in the area, but it’s also so steep you will have to climb down while sitting down.

The rangers at Komodo Island and Rinca Island mostly appear nonchalant, but they’re always on the lookout as komodo dragons are very unpredictable and blend perfectly with their surroundings.

Boats flock the area near Kalong Island at dusk, waiting for the hordes of bats to burst out of the trees as they hunt after sundown.

A lot of visitors live aboard the boats, while some opt to spend their nights at Kanawa Island.
