Presenting cultural heritage with modern elements, UNIQLO launches batik collection for Spring/Summer 2018. Inspired by various motifs such as Sido, Ceplokan and Kembang, the collection features traditional patterns in bright colors and modern silhouettes for various occassions, with light and comfortable material to adapt to the Southeast Asian climate.
Among the selections are collared shirts for men and ruffled blouse with flare sleeves for women, all designed and manufactured in Indonesia. The first batch will be available on 23 March 2018 in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. The second batch, consisting of men’s collection, will follow suit in May.
