Sada by Cathy Sharon: Highlighting Asian Beauty

Aiming to create a full-range cosmetic line dedicated for Asian women, Indonesian celebrity Cathy Sharon finally launched her brand Sada by Cathy Sharon. “Me and team wanted to create the right color for Asian women’s skin,” she said. “Later we will expand our color options, Sada by Cathy Sharon will be an inclusive brand for all skin tones especially for women in Southeast Asia.”

The Matte Lipcolors are paraben-free and enriched with Vitamin E so it doesn’t dry the lips. It also feels very light, non-transferable and can last up to 12 hours. The six shades are mostly nude or neutral with different hues of pink and orange, except for one bright red variant. Cathy’s very own favorite is Sogan with its bolder orange tint.

For the eyes, the Skinny Liquid Penliner is an anti-smudge eyeliner for all occasions. Its thin body makes it easy to hold, and it effortlessly creates that intense, bold lines. Get the look you want with the compact Ghanda series. Ghanda Powder Blush is a two-tone blush on with easily blended fine powder, while Ghanda Contour & Shimmer has an ultra-fine formula and can be brought anywhere for easy touch up, the same as Ghanda Bronze & Highlight.

Cleaning your make up is made easy with Senja Resting Glam Make-up Remover. The two-phased cleansing liquid (water and oil combination) can clear any persistent make-up with one swipe. Enriched with the rarely used turmeric extract, it can help reduce inflammations and contains antioxidants that can help protect your skin against free radicals. Its golden hues would remind you of dusk or “senja” in Indonesian.

That’s not the only Indonesian identity used by the brands. All of the product variants are inspired by Indonesia in one way or another. For the initial collection, the packaging features Kawung Batik pattern, representing humility. Currently some of the products are already available in select beauty stores and the brand’s official stores on e-commerce websites, with others to follow suit throughout 2019. New range and products are already in the plan for next year, including several eye shadow palettes.
