Kota Baru Parahyangan: Built to Impress

Initiated in 2000, the development of KBP adopts 3 main pillars, namely culture, education, and implementing a sustainable development pattern by balancing economic, social, and environmental aspects.

Kota Baru Parahyangan (KBP) is the first and largest city-scale development project covering an area of 1,250 hectares in Greater Bandung. Its strategic location in West Bandung is connected to the Purbaleunyi and Cipularang toll roads and is directly adjacent to Saguling Lake. Over twenty years of development later, KBP has become an independent city, with strong civil support and a natural setting. The realization of the city’s independence is supported by facilities for residents and the surrounding community, such as Sundial Puspa Science and Technology, hospitals, family sport clubs, Mason Pine Hotel, Parahyangan Golf, as well as national and international educational facilities ranging from playgroups to universities.

The opening of IKEA at the end of April 2021 marked a milestone in the development of KBP and was immediately followed by other strategic projects, such as a water theme park scheduled to operate in 2022, a modern market, and a commercial hub with a green  for pedestrians. Accessibility will be improved when the construction of the Padalarang Simpang flyover has been completed. It will connect the Padalarang Timur toll exit to the KBP Gate and the planned high-speed train (HST) station at Padalarang station which is located approximately 1 km from KBP. With more complete facilities and ways to ease connectivity in sight, these will provide positive benefits for the surrounding community, as well as reduce carbon footprints due to congestion.

Kota Baru Parahyangan is the perfect destination for a permanent family domicile or a simple weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of the capital city. Staying at Mason Pine Hotel surrounded by lush hills, playing golf at Parahyangan Golf Course, doing various sports activities at Bumi Pancasona, tasting various delicious culinary delights at Ruko Pancawarna and the shop houses, visiting the Sundial Science and Technology Center, experiencing an adrenaline rush at the Bale Pare Bike Park, or sharing your love of art at the Barli Art Center, shopping at IKEA, and basking in the beautiful scenery around Kota Baru Parahyangan, KBP will provide a suitable environment to be closer to nature, unwind, and to be more mindful and grateful for life.
