Coincided with INTERNATIONAL COFFEE DAY on October 2022, V-Soy organized the final round of ‘V-SOY BARISTA SOYLUTION COMPETITION’. The final round of this national scale competition took place on October 1st, at Elisse Lounge – The Tribrata Darmawangsa Jakarta.
For brewing coffee at the competition, the three finalists used Seattle Geisha 2G E61W/Emergency Bottom – Stainless Steel, a coffee machine by PT Formisa International, Indonesian supplier for coffee machine, coffee powder, beverage powder and accessories. The three finalists competed for the championship title to win a grand prize of one set of coffee machines of Ascaso Uno Pid & Hey Café Espresso Grinder, with a total of Rp 90.000.000.-.
The V-SOY BARISTA SOYLUTION COMPETITION were judged by two coffee experts and a representative from V-Soy World Indonesia. They are Adi W. Taroepratjeka – the CEO and owner of 5758 Coffee Lab and Indonesia’s first Q Grader instructor, Viki Rahardja – Latte Art Champion in 2016 and coffee consultant, and Evlin Wangsadirdja as the Brand Manager of V-Soy World Indonesia. The winner of this competition were Sephta Dwi Christi Yosyeade with his signature drink ‘The Wind Rises’ from Jijou Coffee & Social Bandung as the 1st Winner, M. Vikram Hakam with everyone’s favorite ‘Pancaroba’ from HWGroup, Gading Serpong as the First Runner Up, and Ulfa Uljanah with the unique ‘Tofu Flower City’ from SMITH Bandung as the Second Runner Up.
Through this V-SOY BARISTA SOYLUTION COMPETITION, V-SOY expects to expand their B2B (Business to Business) market by providing references, education, business opportunities, guided by respected coffee experts, and to introduce V-SOY LOW SUGAR for Barista to Indonesia’s culinary and coffee (F&B) entrepreneurs, particularly to Baristas.
