IN2MOTIONFEST Indonesia International Modest Fashion Festival 2022 Showcased 1,256 designs from 163 Designers from 14 Wastra Nusantara

IN2MOTIONFEST 2022 was successfully held from 5-9 October 2022 in Jakarta, themed “Local Product, Global Look”. A collaboration between Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) with the central bank of Republic of Indonesia (BI), this first IN2MOTIONFEST aims to be the biggest International Modest Fashion Festival and Indonesia become the trendsetter of the modest fashion industry.

IN2MOTIONFEST 2022 presented exhibitions and series of fashion shows featuring 1,256 works from 163 Indonesian fashion and accessories designers representing various fashion associations; a member of IKRA in the fashion and accessories sector; with support from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM), the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin), and the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag); representatives from fashion schools in Indonesia; and various communities. The entire collection showcased the diversity of Muslim fashion products and Indonesian accessories which include ready to wear, deluxe street wear, office wear, cocktail wear, and syar’i evening wear.

Designers and brands participated to showcase their creations at IN2MOTIONFEST 2022 include Ayu Dyah Andari, ASK by Asky Febrianti, AM by Anggiasari, Barli Asmara, ButtonScarves, Benang Jarum, Deardein X Atas Bawah, DAUKY, Fenny Saptalia, GADIZA by Rosie Rahmadi, Hannie Hananto, Irna Mutiara, Jenahara, Jenna & Kaia, Khanaan, kami., Kurzien Karzai, L by Laudya Chintya Bella, Lisa Fitria, Malik Moestaram, Nada Puspita, Najua Yanti, Rya Baraba, Restu Anggraini, SHAFIRA, Sofie, ZM by Zaskia Mecca, and from other countries, namely Syahrir Nurdin from Malaysia, Yod Koko from Thailand, and A3 from France X Emmy Thee.

IN2MOTIONFEST 2022 also presented a parade of collaborative works of designers and MSMEs supported by the BI Representative Office (KPw BI) from different regions, namely TutyAdib X KPw BI Riau, Naniek Rachmat X KPw BI Central Sulawesi, Itang Yunasz X KPw BI East Java, Amy Atmanto X KPw BI Central Java, Meeta Fauzan X KPw BI South Kalimantan, NURZAHRA X KPw BI West Kalimantan, TIRAZ by Novita Yunus X KPw BI Southeast Sulawesi, Wignyo X KPw BI Tasikmalaya, Dian Pelangi X KPw BI West Nusa Tenggara, and Nina Nugroho X KPw BI Cirebon. The local identity of the diversity of wastra and handicrafts from each region manifested in various modest fashion styles with a global look to strengthen Indonesia as a center of modest fashion worldwide.
