For the second consecutive year, as part of the commemoration of Mother’s Day and Pancasila Day, Plataran Indonesia hosted a delightful luncheon that brought together prominent female figures from across the country. A total 8 of amazing ladies in 2 series include; Christine Hakim (Actress, Film Producer & Activist), Samira Shihab (Entrepreneur, Co-founder of Tinkerlust & Stellar Woman), Nadine Chandrawinata (Actress & Founder of Seasoldier), Dwi Sasetyaningtiyas (CEO of Sustaination), Adinia Wirasti (Actress & Model), Renita Sari (Producer & Organizer of Galeri Indonesia Kaya), Ria Sarwono (Brand & Marketing Director of Cottonink) and Rania Maheswari Yamin (Indonesian culture advocate) together with Anandita Makes (CSO Plataran Indonesia) as moderator. This intimate luncheon aims to celebrate and recognize the strength and diverse roles of women, at the same time empowering each other through their unique experiences, perspectives, and contributions to society.
Participating in the luncheon were lucky winners from the giveaway that was organized prior to the event. 4 selected lucky winners had the opportunity to join each luncheon session with their girl crush personas. Speakers shared personal experiences and highlighted the challenges they have overcome to achieve success, inspiring others with their stories of resilience and determination.
The luncheon, which was also supported by local sustainable clothing brand, Masshiro & Co, also provided valuable insights on how to create positive change within one’s community and society as a whole. By leveraging the power of Pancasila’s principles, the attendees explored strategies to further empower women, foster inclusivity, and ensure equal opportunities for all.
