PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (PT EMI) as the Sole Agent Brand Holder (ATPM) and distributor of Mazda vehicles in Indonesia, is proud to once again demonstrate its presence at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
Mazda’s participation in the prestigious exhibition which took place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE BSD) from 10 to 20 August 2023, taking place in Hall 7B, stated Mazda Indonesia’s consistent commitment to providing a premium driving experience for Indonesian automotive enthusiasts. At GIIAS 2023, Mazda Indonesia presents 10 car line-ups with an area of 1,000 M2 and a more attractive booth concept. Mazda’s booth design departs from the Japanese aesthetic of “Beauty by Subtraction” to provide an experience that goes beyond the usual car show.
The 10 Mazda models featured at GIIAS 2023 are CX-60 3.3 MHEV AWD KURO, CX-60 3.3 MHEV AWD ELITE, CX-5 IPM6 2.5 ELITE Kuro Edition AT, CX-30 IPM2 2.0 GT AT, CX-3 IPM4 1.5 Sport AT, Mazda3 IPM3 2.0 HB AT, Mazda2 SDN IPM5 1.5 GT AT, MX-5 RF IPM6 2.0 RF MT, and two-color variants of MX-30.
Mazda Indonesia also hosts several talk shows featuring takumis (experts) namely Budi Pradono, the designer Architect of the Vice Presidential Palace in the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) Budi Pradono, Jeffry Tan, one of Indonesia’s well-known fashion designers whose elegant monochromatic dress was specially designed for Mazda Indonesia ushers, and the dainty Balinese dancer Nyoman Tianawati.
Mazda Indonesia is proud to link Budi Pradono’s architectural expertise with the philosophy that radiates in every Mazda car. Just as an architect designs buildings with beauty and functionality as a top priority, Mazda also combines beautiful design with inspiring innovation in each of its vehicles. Budi Pradono’s philosophy which emphasizes balance, harmony and interaction with the surrounding environment, is in line with the principles of Jinba Ittai Mazda which teaches harmony between the driver, the car and the surrounding environment, such as on the highway. Through this fusion of philosophies, both teams create a driving experience that is more than just a ride, but a work of art that connects beauty and performance in one.
Mazda Indonesia embraces beauty and perfection in every detail, as represented by renowned fashion designer, Jeffry Tan. Just as Mazda’s designs are meticulous and capable of presenting harmony, Jeffry Tan also reflects beauty and deep messages through his clothing, especially for Mazda ushers at the GIIAS 2023 event. Through synergistic creativity, we are bringing Mazda cars that are not just vehicles but moving works of art that combine philosophy and beauty. In this design that uses drapery cutting on the lower front, Jeffry explained that he wanted to present a work that has a premium and understated impression. The look shown by the model for this usher dress looks very simple and calm, but when moved, the dress will fade and display all the effects you deliberately want to highlight. Completed with a blazer that looks like a cape, and the choice of a monochromatic color, namely black with a touch of piping gold, adds to the premium side of this design.
The design of the All-New Mazda CX-60 which became one of the center pieces of Mazda Indonesia’s display at GIIAS 2023 also caught the attention of the Balinese dancer Nyoman Tianawati. Her interest cannot be separated from the design which is considered more sophisticated than the usual SUV. The exterior is elegant and has beautiful curves, a blend of natural light and shadows around it, making the All-New Mazda CX-60’s premium colors look prettier and more dynamic. Apart from that, he also paid attention to the Mazda MX-5.
On the last occasion that took place on Indonesia’s Independence Day, Pramita Sari, Marketing & Communications General Manager of PT EMI expressed her enthusiasm to be able to feature many interesting conversations with takumis who are known to be very passionate about the world of art. Like Mazda, a car was born from the hands of Takumi, who has studied the field for more than 20 years.
