The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta’s 1928 Restaurant presents an exciting culinary experience through 1928 Sunday Brunch, available every Sunday. Carefully created by Executive Chef Ferdinand Tobing during his journey in the culinary world, the feast starts with a delicious selection of all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet which includes a bodacious Seafood Delight on Ice served in a bowl that will be delivered on the dining table. The appetizer buffet also includes dishes such as Lobster Bisque and Caesar Salad served from the Parmigiano Cheese Wheel, a variety of fresh Cold Cuts, and the Delicate Cheese Station.
The extravagance of the starters will soon be accompanied by the 5-course Degustation menu. Starting from Baked Lobster with Hollandaise sauce, potato rosti and rocket salad and followed by Herb-Crusted Salmon, served with Salmon Roe and Tomato Salad, offering a delicious second course before moving on to the meat course. Chef Tobing will introduce Java Tamarind Sorbet to cleanse the palate so the next dish, Wagyu Beef Steak accompanied by a mixture of Mushroom Mashed Potato and Grilled King Oyster Mushroom will be able to be enjoyed thoroughly. Chef Tobing’s culinary expertise shines through the Miso Glazed Chicken Leg served with Shirataki Rice and Enoki Mushroom Tempura, creating the perfect chicken dish.
The Wagyu Beef Risotto is easily the highlight of the new 1928 Sunday Brunch. Perfectly prepared with braised Wagyu Beef Cheek and Truffle Risotto, the dish provides an unforgettable flavor combination. To close the extravagant culinary course, 1928 Restaurant offers fresh Pancakes, Waffles and Brioche French Toast, complete with a choice of ice cream and toppings, all served straight to the table. 1928 Sunday Brunch is available every Sunday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at IDR 688,000++ per person and additional IDR 200,000++ per person for the alcoholic beverages of the day.
