‘TOMBO ATI’ AT ARTOTEL SUITES MANGKULUHUR – JAKARTA MARKS WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY

To commemorate World Mental Health Day, ARTOTEL Suites Mangkuluhur – Jakarta and Indonesia’s leading artists are currently holding a painting exhibition ‘Tombo Ati’, highlighting the importance of artistic expression in maintaining mental health. This exhibition displays the paintings by Rosita Rose, KaNA Fuddy Prakoso, and Sari Koeswoyo, and is curated by Diaz Ramadhansyah and this event was opened by Dr. Yuniar Sp.KJ, MMRS President Director RSJ Radjiman.

Taking the theme ‘Tombo Ati’, which literally translates as “inner vision” or “eyes of the heart,” signifying wisdom and understanding that emerges from the depths of the heart to see, feel, reflect, and interpret. The three leading artists explore the depth of human emotions and experiences. Rosita Rose takes inspiration from nature and the human form, using bright colors and soft brushstrokes to convey deep feelings and emotions. KaNA Fuddy Prakoso combines scientific analysis with personal emotions, creating works of art that enlighten and evoke feelings. Meanwhile, Sari Koeswoyo combines traditional elements in Wayang art with contemporary narratives, creating a connection between ancient Indonesian culture and the modern world.

Through their works, the artists invite guests to explore unexplored territories, reminding us of art’s ability to forge strong connections between individuals, humans and the universe.
