“Discover Indonesian Modest Fashion Excellence” as a highlighted theme, JMFW aims to accelerate Indonesia’s modest fashion, industry, and ecosystem to become the center of the world’s modest fashion. In this 3rd year, JMFW has shown even greater achievements not only through its fashion shows but also through stimulating economic growth in the modest fashion ecosystem, which involves many stakeholders in promoting Indonesia’s fashion and creative industry to the global market.
The growing trend of wearing modest fashion has become part of a lifestyle. Not only in the Muslim-majority countries, but even broader including the worldwide renowned brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, DIOR, and Uniqlo x Hana Tajima have also taken the opportunity to market modest fashion collections. The fashion industry is also embracing more modest fashion designers.
