Following the previous success with the Paris and Dubai series, the peak of IN2MF is soon to be held in Jakarta, as part of the Sharia Economic Fashion Festival (ISEF) 2023. ISEF, the largest annual Sharia economic and financial event in Indonesia, is a forum to integrate various activities within the Sharia economic and financial sector. Highlighting “Sustainable Modest Fashion Indonesia Introducing Wastra Indonesia” as a theme, IN2MF supports the development of a green economy in the modest fashion industry sector.
This collaborative effort aims to accelerate Indonesia’s becoming a center for the global halal industry with Bank Indonesia synergizing with the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM) and the Indonesia Fashion Chamber (IFC) in organizing IN2MF. The modest fashion industry is one of the main sectors in the halal industry with great potential for further development. IN2MF’s presence strengthens the expansion and exposure of Indonesian modest fashion and halal lifestyle products to the global market.
The implementation of IN2MF continues its presence in the international fashion stages introducing Indonesian modest fashion products also strengthening its existence. Since the beginning of 2023, IN2MF has been held in several major cities in the world, including Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Pretoria in South Africa, and Paris in France.
The peak of IN2MF 2023 will be held on 25–29 October 2023 at Cendrawasih and Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta by highlighting the local wisdom of modest fashion clothing that uses local Indonesian literature and fabrics. IN2MF 2023 will present a series of fashion shows, international standard trade exhibitions, talk shows, and business matching.
Among the esteemed designers and brands who will showcase their modest fashion collections at IN2MF 2023 including Itang Yunasz, Dian Pelangi, Ayu Dyah Andari, Deden Siswanto, Hannie Hananto, Vivi Zubedi, Kursien Karzai, Irna La Perle, Khanaan, Rosie Rahmadi, Neera Alatas, Nuniek Mawardi, Novita Yunus, Malik Moestaram, Gregorius Vicci, Brilianto, TutyAdib, Lisa Fitria, ZM by Zaskia Mecca, kami., Jenna&Kaia, ETU by Restu Anggraini, ASK by Asky Febrianty, ALEZA, ZOYA, ELZATTA, Geulis, Rose.
