Internationally acclaimed Chef Greg Malouf, a maestro in Middle Eastern cuisine, is set to enchant diners at Al Nafoura, the signature restaurant of Le Méridien Jakarta, from November 16 to 26, 2023 with theme “The Art of Mezza”
Born in Melbourne to Lebanese parents, Chef Greg Malouf is a distinguished authority on Middle Eastern cuisine. His culinary journey spans training in France, Italy, Austria, and Hong Kong. On a recent visit to Lebanon, Chef Malouf received an award recognizing his significant contribution to Lebanese food culture beyond the country’s borders. Renowned Australian chef Alla Wolf-Tasker acknowledges Chef Malouf as the “instigator of Middle Eastern cuisine in Australia,” a pivotal contribution to the culinary history of the country. With six award-winning food books to his credit, including “Arabesque,” “Saha,” and the most recent “New Middle Eastern Food,” Chef Malouf continues to inspire and innovate.
During his takeover of Al Nafoura at Le Méridien, Chef Greg Malouf will bring his signature culinary magic to the heart of the city. Chef Greg Malouf is currently presenting an exclusive menu during the takeover, featuring his renowned creations and culinary innovations. Diners can indulge in the exquisite “Malouf Mezza,” a tantalizing array of flavors including marinated Kalamata olives paired with housemade Shankleesh cheese, hazelnut za’atar, and Kharc bread. Alongside Malouf Mezza, Chef Greg Malouf will also present Silky Hummus, Fatima’s Fingers, Cured Salmon Bastourma, and Mishmishiya
