In celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year, SISSAE has launched its special collection called “Jewel from the East”, showcasing more than 30 women’s outfits for moms and kids with special hand-embroidery. This exclusive trunk show took place at Daily Treats – The Westin Jakarta and was graced by Tama Florentina, the founder and CEO of Moire Rugs, along with Lulu Zaharani, Yashinta Aurellia, and Christine Priscilla Malau from Yayasan Puteri Indonesia.
The current collection holds special meaning for SISSAE as it symbolizes their growth as a local brand that brings artsy designs to life. These designs originate from hand-painted artworks, serving as the foundation for embroidery crafted by local artists embraced by SISSAE to collectively elevate Indonesia’s name.
Presenting a modern interpretation of traditional Qipao designs and offering comfort and elegant style, the Jewel from The East’s collection is perfect for welcoming the new year of the wooden dragon with hope and spirit.
In a noteworthy collaboration this year, SISSAE partnered with Kim Fook, a jewelry brand embracing the concept of a “Private Jeweler,” to enhance the appeal of their collection. This fusion seamlessly combines fashion with luxury jewelry, introducing an additional layer of glamour to each piece.
Beyond the realm of fashion, the trunk show included a talk by Beart, a Korean skin clinic emphasizing the importance of natural glowing skin. The event was further embellished with the presence of Puteri Indonesia, sponsored by Mustika Ratu. The culinary team from The Westin Jakarta, led by Executive Pastry Chef Enggie Anggakusumah, contributed to serve delectable canapés and treats inspired by SISSAE’s latest collection.
Founded by three fashion-loving sisters, SISSAE has expanded its presence to Singapore and caters to customers in Malaysia, the United States, Australia, Dubai, and the United Kingdom through their official website. Notably, celebrities like Jennifer Lopez have adorned SISSAE outfits.
