Anomali Coffee is proud to announce its collaboration with Pinaloka, a member of LTKL. The collaboration is marked with the launch of their new captivating menu which uses Pineapple as the basic ingredient. This collaboration is a continuation project between Anomali Coffee and LTKL, which previously in 2022 also launched a menu using Maram Fruit as the basic ingredient and also took a part in a collaboration with Kalara Borneo (also a member of LTKL) from Kalimantan.
All the pineapple used comes from Siak, a regency in Riau, that owns the largest expanse of peatland in Sumatra. The people of Siak Regency have taken the initiative to plant pineapples as their pineapples are not just agricultural products but are also an inspiring story of community, cooperating together to protect peatlands from the risk of fire by cultivating pineapples and creating sustainable products that not only improve the local economy, but also weave a story of sustainability.
This SIAK Pineapple is presented in 5 menus at Anomali Coffee in the form of Tropical Black beverages (A refreshing mix of SIAK Pineapple, delicate jasmine, and bold espresso over ice), Aloha Siak (Perfectly refreshing blend of SIAK Pineapple and Coconut milk), and Lamb Chop Fried Rice (Fried rice mix with lamb chop and served pineapple and creekers), Grill Lamb Chop with Mushroom (Grilled lamb Chop with Potato and Mushroom Sauce) and Pina Cake.
The launch of this special collaboration was also carried out with a talk show: ” Experience HapPINEss, Anomali Coffee’s sweet collaboration with Lingkar Temu Kabupaten Lestari (LTKL) and Pinaloka” at Anomali Coffee Menteng, Jakarta. In the Talkshow Session, Ms. Donna as the speaker and one of the women behind the launch of this collaborative product talked about the RnD process, product development and the unique stories behind the process. Ms. Donna also revealed that the dedicated team will keep continuing to develope products and produce new menus, especially from the pineapple. Therefore, it is hoped that the collaboration between Anomali Coffee and Pinaloka can be realized over a longer period of time.
Irvan Helmi as Co-Founder of Anomali Coffee also shared his excitement, “Anomali Coffee is a bridge to present consumers with products that not only provide “freshness” in every menu, but there is also a value that consumers receive by being involved in improving the community’s economy and protecting peatlands in the Siak District.”
This event was celebrated with the cutting of pineapple fruit together by Mr. Irvan, Ms. Ristika, and Ms. Wulan as representatives of each collaborating party and proceeded with a food and beverages presentation from the Indonesia Coffee Academy and Anomali Coffee’s Executive Chef.
