COACH CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF THE COACH RESTAURANT AND COACH COFFEE SHOP IN JAKARTA

Coach, a global fashion house founded in New York in 1941, recently announced the opening of The Coach Restaurant and Coach Coffee Shop at Grand Indonesia Mall, marking the debut for the brand in the hospitality industry. Inspired by Coach’s vision of Expressive Luxury and its goal to connect with consumers through experiences beyond products, the restaurant and adjacent coffee shop are the first of a series of additional dining experiences the brand will unveil in 2024 and beyond.

To celebrate the official opening of The Coach Restaurant, Coach hosted a star-studded event with celebrity guests and friends of Coach. In attendance was guest of honor, South Korean actor and musician, Kang Min-hyuk. The event was also graced by top Indonesia celebrities like Luna Maya, Angga Yunanda, Afgan and Chelsea Islan, and celebrities from South-East Asia – Blue Pongtiwat, Hakken, Anna Jobling, Glenn Yong, amongst others.

The grand opening festivities ignited with a mesmerizing launch ceremony, unleashing a spectacular projection mapping onto The Coach Restaurant’s façade. As the lively celebration unfolded, guests savored iconic New York bites and canapés from The Coach Restaurant amidst the vibrant atmosphere. The night ended with an unforgettable performance by the renowned Indonesian band, Maliq & D’Essentials, joined by the amazing vocals of local top Indonesian male vocalist, Afgan.

The opening marks a new chapter in the house’s venture into crafting interactive and exploratory experiences that captivate the senses on various levels. Drawing inspiration from the iconic visual language of New York, The Coach Restaurant reimagines a classic New York steakhouse through the lens of today. The restaurant features touches of Coach craft as a reference to the brand’s heritage. The menu features iconic New York steakhouse fare, including strip steak, lamb chops, shrimp cocktail, wedge salad, and a classic martini—inspired by the restaurant’s vision to bring the spirit of New York City to Coach audiences around the world.

Located next door to The Coach Restaurant is the Coach Coffee Shop, an extension of Coach’s dining experience at Grand Indonesia. It reimagines a classic New York corner store with modernity, featuring a New York cityscape wallpaper, iconic diner bites like pizza and soft serve, and an urban-inspired design. The shop will also debut the coffee shop’s mascot Lil Miss Jo, a friendly coffee cup inspired by vintage New York diner imagery and the spirit of the city that never sleeps.

Offering a delectable array of New York inspired bites and an immersive Coach experience, customers are invited to savor the flavors at The Coach Restaurant and Coach Coffee Shop at Grand Indonesia, West Mall G Floor. The Coach Coffee Shop is open from 10:00 am to 10.00 pm daily.
