The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta held an iftar event with orphans and children in need as a part of “Harmony of Ramadan: Bring Hope & Spread Happiness of the Glorious Ramadan.” This event was made possible through the partnership of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta and PT. Bantu Group Indonesia, with the support of Said Management, Sony Entertainment, & Liberty Sound System. The Iftar was attended by representatives from Singgasana Hotels & Resorts, media, hotel staff, and 150 orphaned children from Al-Kahfi Foundation, Mizan Amanah, & Rahmatussolihiin.
The children from the orphanages were warmly welcomed by Management & Employees of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta at the Kudus Lobby to embark on an unforgettable adventure exploring the beauty of the hotel. They were invited to pose at the Lagoon Lobby, experience joy at the Kids Playground, enjoy the beauty of the resort-style swimming pool, and finally, play enthusiastically in the Sriwedari Garden by feeding the rabbits. Each of these moments provided an unforgettable experience, adding to the joy of welcoming the blessed holy month of Ramadan.
The children were also taken on an exciting storytelling adventure in the puppet storytelling session. This storytelling session was skillfully presented by Pita, a master storyteller from Dongeng Verse, a part of the Langkah Insan Manfaat mission or program, which aims to support and empower 321 Quran-memorizing students. This program is not just about storytelling but also about stimulating imagination, providing hope, and nurturing spirits in the hearts of the beneficiaries.
The Ramadan event commenced with a warm welcome by I Nyoman Sarya, Vice President Operations of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, followed by the inspirational words of Muhammad Yazid Khadafy, Founder of PT. Bantu Group Indonesia. The atmosphere was then filled with tranquility through a heartfelt Qur’an recitation, followed by an inspiring Ramadan Kultum event.
In the spirit of generosity and kindness, donations for orphans and children in need were not limited to cash from The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, which reflects the commitment and dedication of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta in spreading happiness to orphaned children during the holy month of Ramadan.
