ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan – Jakarta holds its first collaborative art exhibition with a theme ‘GBK Unfolds’, in which 11 Indonesian renowned artists, namely Abel Octovan, Adi Gunawan, Agustan Arkiv Vilmansa, Bill Mohdor, Fadly, Irskiy, Iqi Qoror, Harishazka Fauzan, Lukman Edi Santoso, Tutu from KINIKO, SAL Project, Museum of Toys and SANKHARA galleries participating. This art exhibition takes place at ARTSPACE, Lobby level of ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan – Jakarta, and will last until 30 June 2024.
‘GBK UNFOLDS’ symbolizes and means a transformation process that soon the hotel, which sits in the commercial area of the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) integrated sports area, will undergo a renovation phase and will turn into a new hotel with concepts that combine sports, art, and contemporary lifestyle under the new name called ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan. This hotel brings new enthusiasm and breath to the GBK area through world-class arts, entertainment, and sports programs presented as a commitment and distinctiveness of ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan – Jakarta. This exhibition is also a form of collaboration in the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (which means Unity in Diversity) through various artworks represented by the artists, either in the form of installations or paintings, all have their characteristics and uniqueness of each artist.
