THE GAIA HOTEL BANDUNG ANNOUNCES THE TRIUMPHANT CONCLUSION OF ITS INAUGURAL ACTIVE WELLNESS RETREAT

The Gaia Hotel Bandung is excited to announce the success of its very first Active Wellness Retreat, which took place from 9 May to 12 May 2024. This exclusive retreat is tailored for individuals who are seeking to take better care of their health and well-being. The retreat was a major success, selling out all available slots and becoming the first comprehensive three-day, four-night wellness retreat in Bandung.

The Active Wellness Retreat at The Gaia Hotel perfectly embodies the brand’s commitment to Active/Rest. This retreat offers participants a unique opportunity to embark on a transformative journey of exploration, self-discovery, and personal growth. With the guidance of experienced professionals in sports, medicine, nutrition, and mental health, attendees can expect a comprehensive and well-rounded experience. The program is carefully designed to accommodate individuals at any fitness level, from those just starting out to seasoned fitness enthusiasts.

The Retreat went beyond mere exercise. It aimed to encompass a well-rounded approach to wellness, covering fitness, nutrition, and mental health strategies. Additionally, it provided opportunities to unwind, recharge, and revitalize.

Throughout the four-day, three-night retreat, guests were engaging in a variety of enriching activities. From two choices of personalized consultations on nutrition, body make-up and personal training, to 16 choices of morning exercise and night relaxation sessions, massage therapy, and hands-on workshops in perfume making, photography and terrarium planting. Every moment during the Active Wellness Retreat has been curated to inspire, educate, empower and enable.

Furthermore, the retreat was also supported by Clinical Dietitian and Sport Nutritionist Emilia E. Achmadi, Bandung-based wellness centre The Sanctuary, and more.
