To celebrate the launch of the collection, RIMOWA unveils a campaign set in a fictional universe where Emerald takes center stage. There, the RIMOWA Original suitcase becomes a portal into a realm that celebrates the beauty of the gem, embodying the collection’s essence. This imaginative landscape, created by artist Jean-Jacques Balzac is inspired by the vibrant green hues of the gem and futurist architecture, seamlessly blurring the boundaries between the real and the virtual.
The new Emerald hue is available in three different sizes across the RIMOWA Original collection, including Cabin, Check-In L, and Trunk Plus. The German Maison’s considered approach to craftsmanship is apparent across the new seasonal suitcase offering, from the stage-free telescopic handle and RIMOWA-pioneered Multi-Wheel system to the TSA-approved locks to secure belongings during travel. Meanwhile, the RIMOWA Personal Aluminium Cross-Body Bag in Emerald’s interior features two open compartments, a zipped pocket, and three card slots to keep daily essentials safe, color-matched to the bag’s exterior. A removable leather strap comes in a complementary shade of green.
