CELEBRATING ANOTHER YEAR OF POLAND FESTIVAL AT THE 1O1 JAKARTA SEDAYU DARMAWANGSA

In November 2024, PHM Hotels and Panorama JTB are teaming up with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) to host the 5th Poland Festival. This is the largest Polish cultural and trade showcase in ASEAN, designed to strengthen ties between Poland and Indonesia with exciting initiatives in tech, education, and industry.

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, the Poland Festival 2024 has already welcomed over 500,000 participants, making it a standout initiative from an EU country in Indonesia. The festival offers a range of fun activities that highlight cultural diversity and encourage collaboration among various stakeholders, from local communities to government officials.

According to Jacek Kolomyjec, who leads the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Jakarta, “This festival is a clear sign of Poland and Indonesia’s dedication to enhancing their cultural and economic relationships. We’re thrilled to witness how this platform helps both nations grow and understand each other better.”

This event happened on Friday, November 8, 2024, at THE 1O1 Jakarta Sedayu Darmawangsa, which is part of the PHM Hotels group. Panorama JTB and THE 1O1 Jakarta Sedayu Darmawangsa also invited their corporate clients, aiming to expand their business network.

This year’s Poland Festival set to impress with a culinary collaboration, Chef Marcin and Chef Mariusz from Poland join forces with Chef Yoel and Chef Farah from THE 1O1 Jakarta Sedayu Darmawangsa. Together, they’ll showcase a blend of Polish and Indonesian flavors, guiding everyone in making some amazing dishes with special ingredients from both cultures. There will also be dance performances and cultural displays celebrating the heritage of Poland and Indonesia.

Jaddi Internasional is thrilled to step in as the beverage sponsor for the Poland Festival 2024, bringing a range of wines to enhance your culinary journey. Our aim is to promote the wine market in Indonesia, and we’re happy to support this event that fosters cultural exchange and celebration.

“We’re super excited to be part of the 5th Poland Festival! Through this collaboration, we aim to showcase the rich Polish culture to the Indonesian community and promote Indonesian tourism to the world,” said Mr. Budi Tirtawisata, Group CEO of Panorama Group.

Launched as a simple three-day affair in 2019, the Poland Festival has now become a key platform for promoting the relationship between Poland and Indonesia.
