SANGO HOTEL MANAGEMENT HOSTED THE TASTE OF ASIA, AN EVENT AIMING TO BOOST  RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MEDIA

To showcase its hotel units and strengthen partnerships with media partners, Sango Hotel Management hosted a Media Gathering event called “Taste of Asia.” The event took place at Man Aur Tan – Authentic Indian Cuisine Restaurant, located on the 36th floor of the Manhattan Hotel Jakarta. Sango Hotel Management oversees three five-star hotels in Jakarta: Manhattan Hotel Jakarta, Merlyn Park Hotel Jakarta, and Sunlake Waterfront Resort & Convention, along with a four-star hotel in Semarang, the Metro Park View Hotel Kota Lama Semarang.

Sango Hotel Management is expanding its business in the hospitality industry by launching several food and beverage outlets in Semarang, including Silverspoon Restaurant & Bar and Obsidian Specialty Coffee & Eatery. They’re also managing a few specialty restaurants in Jakarta, such as Grand City Chinese Restaurant at Sunlake Waterfront Resort & Convention and Merlyn Park Hotel, along with Man Aur Tan, an authentic Indian cuisine spot at Manhattan Hotel Jakarta.

Asteria T. Hesty, the Managing Director of Sango Hotel Management, warmly welcomed the invited guests, shared the story behind Sango Hotel Management, and expressed gratitude to the media for their support throughout the company’s journey in the hospitality industry. She highlighted that all Sango hotels share a common vision and mission, along with a service culture called “The Soul of Indonesia,” which shines through in the warm hospitality extended to every guest. Their tagline focuses on providing exclusive access to unique experiences.

At this event, every hotel gets to flaunt their unique culinary offerings. You can try mutton biryani, butter chicken, cheese naan, chicken lollypop, mango lassi, and pistachio kulfi from Manhattan Hotel Jakarta. Merlyn Park Hotel Jakarta brings you salted egg shrimp, duck fried rice, egg bitter melon, and a variety of pepes dishes. Sunlake Waterfront Resort & Convention features dim sum and an 8-combination soup, while Metro Park View Kota Lama Semarang serves up lumpia, tofu meatballs, jalapeno cheese balls, and mini burgers. Each dish showcases the hotel’s distinct flavors, making for a delicious culinary journey.

Not only did guests enjoy some amazing food, but they were also treated to vibrant Bollywood dance shows and live music that really brought the party to life. The whole Sango Hotel crew, along with reps from each hotel, wore traditional outfits from different Asian countries like India, China, Japan, and Indonesia, which really highlighted the “Taste of Asia” theme. Sango Hotel Management is looking to use this event to build stronger ties with the media and promote the “Indonesian Hospitality Experience,” focusing on Indonesia’s rich culture. Their goal is to be the best in the business by creating unforgettable guest experiences, being a top-notch workplace for staff, and giving back to the community, all in line with their vision.
