MEDICAL AND WELLNESS WORLD TOURISM EXPO 2024, A COMPREHENSIVE WELLNESS SOLUTION

Enhaiier Corporation, in collaboration with KIA (Karya Inovasi Asia) and GTO, successfully organized the Medical and Wellness World Tourism Expo 2024 (MWWTE 2024) from November 15 to 17.

The exhibition, which brought together health specialists from diverse nations including Indonesia, Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore, India, and Iran, successfully highlighted the most recent innovations in medicine and wellness. This initiative has paved the way for expanded collaboration opportunities in both the health and tourism sectors.

The President Director of Enhaiier Corporation, Irmansyah Madewa, expressed great enthusiasm regarding the interest shown by the visitors. This exhibition serves as evidence that innovation in the fields of health and tourism is highly sought after by the community. “We aim to further encourage the development of the health and tourism sectors in Indonesia, striving to make our country a benchmark in the realm of medical tourism.”

At the same time, Zulkifli Harahap, who serves as the Director of Investment for the Ministry of Tourism in Indonesia, indicated that the nation is prioritizing the development of the health and tourism sectors as essential engines of economic progress.

To support this initiative, Indonesia has established Special Economic Zones in two strategic locations: Bali, specifically on Kura Kura Island and in Sanur. These areas are designed to promote tourism, wellness, and medical tourism. Additionally, a newly constructed Special Economic Zone has been developed in Banten.

These zones contribute to Indonesia’s initiative to become a primary destination for tourism and medical tourism, cultivating an inviting environment for investment and collaboration within the wellness sector. Indonesia’s government has pointed out the diverse incentives accessible to investors in this special economic zone, such as streamlined business operations, decreased tourism taxes, and a variety of other benefits intended to draw in and support investment.

This aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s mission to achieve an economic growth rate of 8% from 2024 to 2029. “The tourism, medical, and wellness sectors will play a crucial role in reaching this target, and we must all collaborate to ensure that this goal is realized,” he stated.

This event presents a wide range of innovative solutions that respond to the challenges faced in modern public health, encompassing areas such as bariatric and plastic surgery, along with stem cell therapy. In addition, participants can explore information related to ozone and oxygen therapies, sexual rehabilitation, cancer treatment, and genetic testing aimed at early disease detection. Experts in the health field are on hand to offer personal consultations and share their current expertise.

Over the course of three days, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a conference featuring engaging topics, business matching sessions aimed at fostering collaboration, and an exhibition showcasing the latest health products and services. Specifically for healthcare professionals, this conference offers Professional Credit Units (SKP) accredited by the Ministry of Health, demonstrating support for their professional development.
