The Lampung stall showcased traditional Lampung woven fabrics, local cuisine, and Lampung craft souvenirs, while also promoting tourism. At the opening ceremony, Selinggang Alam Lampung’s dance was performed as a symbol of love for the beautiful culture of Lampung for its nature, people, and the dynamic aspects of life.
The annual bazaar featured around 42 stalls from various foreign embassies in Indonesia, ranging from the Embassy of The Argentine Republic to the Embassy of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 225 business stalls, including 29 food and beverage stalls, 3 charity stalls, WIC Merchandise stalls and White Elephant stalls, with an entrance fee of IDR 25,000 per person.
WIC is extremely grateful for the support from participating embassies in Jakarta so that the annual bazaar ran smoothly and met expectations, as evidenced by the large number of visitors and their enthusiasm in buying items from the embassy and WIC Jakarta business stalls. The WIC’s main fundraising event which proceeds from the bazaar is used to support their social missions, including monthly support to several senior homes and orphanages, annual scholarship programs to state university students, and others. WIC aspires to maintain its dedication to hosting the Annual Charity Bazaar to assist the community’s underserved and underprivileged individuals.
