GOLDEN RAMA TOURS & TRAVEL: TENNIS TRIUMPH – A UNIQUE CORPORATE INCENTIVE EVENT

Golden Rama Tours & Travel recently hosted Tennis Triumph, a dynamic corporate incentive event inspired by the prestigious Australian Open. This exclusive program, designed for top-tier corporate clients, combined exciting tennis activities with a luxurious gala dinner, creating a memorable experience for all attendees.

In collaboration with Business Events Australia, Tennis Triumph seamlessly blended the thrill of tennis with elegant dining. Participants enjoyed premium amenities, including training sessions led by Angelique Widjaja, the 2002 Australian Open Junior Doubles Champion. The event also featured a mini-tournament with celebrities like Dion Wiyoko and TS Talk host Marianne Rumantir, followed by an exquisite networking dinner.

“Today, tennis is not just a popular sport but also a lifestyle,” said Madu Sudono, President Director of Golden Rama Tours & Travel. “We see great potential in incorporating this element into our corporate programs, creating experiences that are both entertaining and strengthen business relationships with our clients.”

During the dinner, Golden Rama and Business Events Australia showcased Australia’s rich culture and cuisine through a talk show hosted by Tourism Australia representatives. They provided insights into incentive travel activities in premium destinations like Sydney and Adelaide.

In Sydney, guests experienced world-class tennis courts with stunning views of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. They also participated in exclusive networking sessions at one of the city’s top rooftop venues, complete with fine dining experiences featuring Australian culinary creations.

In Adelaide, participants enjoyed a more relaxed atmosphere, continuing the event with a business workshop held in Barossa Valley, one of Australia’s premier wine regions. Guests were treated to private wine tours and exclusive tastings, fostering personal interactions and building relationships.

Tennis Triumph: Part of the Sports Holiday Series

Golden Rama’s connection to the sports world dates back to the early 1960s when its founder organized trips for Indonesian badminton supporters to cheer on their national team at international events. This enduring spirit led Golden Rama to launch Sports Holiday in 2018, a travel package combining vacation experiences with sports activities like marathons, golf, and tennis, all presented with premium services. Tennis Triumph is a part of this innovative Sports Holiday series.

“We continue to innovate and collaborate to deliver unique events that meet the goals and needs of our corporate clients. I believe that activity components, such as sports programs, can build strong team cooperation and drive participants’ achievements after the trip,” said Madu Sudono.

The collaboration between Golden Rama and Business Events Australia in Tennis Triumph demonstrates how sports can be a powerful tool for strengthening professional networks. Additionally, participants were introduced to incentive travel options in Australia, including exclusive packages to witness the Australian Open and explore the beauty of Australian cities.

With the Sports Holiday concept, Golden Rama aims to offer a fresh perspective in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry, traditionally dominated by formal agendas. Through Tennis Triumph, Golden Rama hopes to encourage companies to incorporate sports elements into incentive travel and business development.
