HARRIS HOTELS COMMEMORATES WORLD ENVIRONMENT EDUCATION DAY WITH MANGROVE PLANTING

In celebration of World Environment Education Day 2025, HARRIS Hotels Jakarta-Bekasi, through their corporate social responsibility program Ascott Care, hosted a mangrove planting event with the Mangrove Jakarta community in Muara Gembong, Bekasi. The event saw participation from several HARRIS Hotels properties, including HARRIS Puri Mansion, HARRIS Kelapa Gading, HARRIS FX Sudirman, and HARRIS Bekasi.

The initiative aimed to raise environmental awareness and support the preservation of mangrove ecosystems, which play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance, preventing coastal erosion, and providing habitat for diverse flora and fauna.

In addition to mangrove planting, the event included educational sessions about the importance of mangrove forests for ecosystems and local communities. These sessions were conducted by representatives from the Mangrove Jakarta community for all Harris Lit’s attendees.
