Sagu Sapapua is now available on platforms like Tokopedia and Shopee, while Edashi Edamame can be found in retail stores such as Hypermart, AEON, and Ranch Market.
During the Cooking Class, Chef Beatrix captivated the attendees with her innovative dishes made from sago and edamame. Her creations included gluten-free Edamame Pão de Queijo, a Brazilian snack reimagined with edamame and Papua sago, and the richly flavored Mie Sagu Godog, a dish from Central Java.
Chef Beatrix emphasized the versatility and potential of sago and edamame in crafting delicious yet healthy dishes. “With local ingredients, we can create global flavors while presenting high-quality menus that compete on an international level,” she said, brimming with enthusiasm.
Adding to the excitement, Chef Yakub showcased his culinary prowess with a Cooking Demo of Choipan, inspiring over 20 participants in the Cooking Challenge. The contestants, hailing from various culinary communities, exhibited their creativity by crafting gluten-free Choipan using Sagu Sapapua, proving the versatility of sago in diverse culinary applications.
