UNITED TRACTORS BOOSTS EID HOMECOMING SPIRIT WITH SAFE AND GREEN MUDIK PROGRAM

To celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1446 H, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) Group has organized a joint homecoming program in 2025 for the employees and their families. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to ensuring a safe and comfortable travel experience for participants. Under the themeMudik Nyaman Bersama Scania – Comfortable Homecoming with Scania,” the program accommodates 1,793 individuals departing from multiple locations, including the UT Head Office in Cakung, PAMA Head Office in Pulogadung, Pasar Senen Station for train travelers, and UTPE/DPP in Cikarang.

Participants include employees, family members, UT School students, and interns. Thirty buses and two train carriages are provided to transport people to various destinations across Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Yogyakarta. The Board of Directors of the UT Group, led by President Director of UT, Frans Kesuma along with Indonesia’s Minister of Manpower, Prof. Ir. Yassierli, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., officiated the send-off ceremony.

In his speech, Minister Yassierli conveyed that the Ministry of Manpower always emphasizes the importance of collaboration between labor unions and employers. Building harmonious industrial relations is not easy, but all must be optimistic that there are still many companies that are able to make it happen. Events such as ‘Mudik Nyaman Bersama Scania’ organized by the UT Group are real examples of how the Company cares about workers as mutual cooperation is part of the nation’s DNA.

Furthermore, this initiative aligns with the government’s call for joint homecoming trips to enhance safety, reduce traffic accidents, and lower congestion. It also serves as a means to limit private vehicle usage and decrease transportation-related carbon emissions. Comprehensive safety measures, such as health checks for drivers and crew, along with safety briefings for participants, have been implemented to ensure a smooth and secure journey.

The program not only allows employees to spend meaningful time with their families during Eid, which has been a yearly tradition of all Indonesians, but also fosters relationships within the UT Group’s broader community. Organized by several UT Group member companies, the event emphasizes collaboration and community spirit, highlighting the group’s dedication to employee welfare and shared moments of joy.
