The opening ceremony was officiated by delivering opening remarks and a toast together by Alexander H. Kusuma (Chief Executive Officer of ASRI), Christoph Hoffman (Founder of 25hours Hotels), and Jesper Soerensen (General Manager of 25hours Hotel the Oddbird), along with the invitees and hotel residents. Christoph Hoffman commented, “This is a big milestone for a brand that started 20 years ago in Hamburg, Germany. We hope this is only the beginning and more Indonesian projects will follow.” Jesper Soerensen added, “25hours Hotel the Oddbird offers a fresh way to experience Jakarta – embracing its contrasts, celebrating its stories, and inviting guests into a true paradise of paradoxes.”

Throughout the hotel, all guests were entertained with street magician performances, tarot card readings, curated photo corners, and a pop-up art exhibition. Each space carried its own mood, inspired by tropical greenery, urban grit, and the Oddbird‘s playful creative spirit. Additionally, guests were indulged in delectable food and refreshing beverages.
