In the face of today’s growing environmental challenges, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) continues to demonstrate its long-term commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
This year, the company marked World Environment Day with the launch of EnviroFest 2025, an inspiring initiative designed to turn awareness into action and foster a culture of environmental stewardship.
Carrying the theme “From Awareness to Action: Living the Responsible Consumption,” EnviroFest 2025 brought together industry professionals, academics, students, and community members in a shared mission to protect the planet. The highlight of the event was the planting of 1,000 trees at IPB University’s Dramaga Campus in Bogor, a continuation of UT’s strategic partnership with the university. Since 2022, the collaboration has managed 20 hectares of campus forest and successfully reforested 15,000 trees, reinforcing the site’s role as a living laboratory for biodiversity conservation.
More than 200 participants took part in the event, including UT employees, hobby communities from across the UT Group (PAMA, BP, UTPE, EPN, ACSET, and YKBUT), and students from IPB. The event also featured a special appearance by Lady Diandra, Puteri Indonesia Intelegensia 2024, who shared an inspiring message about the importance of sustainability and the role of youth in shaping a greener future.
“Sustainability is a long-term investment, not just for the company, but for future generations,” said Ari Sutrisno, Director of United Tractors. “EnviroFest is a space for learning and collective action, where environmental awareness can grow into a shared culture.”
EnviroFest 2025 wasn’t just a one-day event. It was the culmination of a year-long sustainability movement. Earlier in the year, UT participated in Earth Hour, launched the Drop It Challenge to reduce plastic use, and rolled out a series of internal campaigns including the 10-Day Green Challenge, the SERAYA video competition, and the BUMI movement (Together for Indonesia’s Conservation).
At the event site, participants were invited to explore the Timor deer conservation area, a home to a protected species and take part in biodiversity workshops led by IPB’s Faculty of Forestry and Environment. These sessions offered hands-on learning and encouraged participants to share their green lifestyle commitments on social media, amplifying the message beyond the event itself.
A symbolic eco-friendly vehicle convoy from UT’s headquarters and Cibubur Residence to IPB set the tone for the day, representing a collective step toward a more sustainable lifestyle. The event also underscored the power of cross-sector collaboration, with support from IPB University, the UT Foundation (YKBUT), and internal communities across the UT Group, which are all aligned with the 2025 World Environment Day theme: Beat Plastic Pollution.
With EnviroFest 2025, United Tractors isn’t just celebrating the environment—it’s building momentum for a healthier, greener, and more responsible future. For the company, sustainability is more than a vision. It’s a shared journey toward lasting impact.
