Swiss-Belhotel International has named Ilkin Ilyaszade as Senior Vice President of Operations and Development for Indonesia, effective 1 June 2025. With an extensive career in global hospitality management, Ilkin joined the group in 2024, bringing expertise in corporate strategy, hotel pre-openings, and operational transformation across Central Asia.
Armed with an MBA from the University of British Columbia, he now oversees Swiss-Belhotel’s portfolio of hotels in Indonesia, from budget hotels to luxury destinations, spanning Sumatra to Papua. His leadership guides a diverse brand collection, including Māua by Swiss-Belhotel, Grand Swiss-Belhotel, and Zest Hotel.
Chairman Gavin M. Faull expressed confidence, “Ilkin’s global insight and operational acumen add exceptional value. Indonesia is our key market, and his role is crucial for accelerating growth.”
