MERCURE SERPONG ALAM SUTERA PRESENTS COFFEE GROUNDS PAINTING EXHIBITION

In a thoughtful blend of sustainability and creativity, Mercure Serpong Alam Sutera introduces the Coffee Grounds Painting Exhibition, spotlighting children’s artwork crafted from recycled coffee grounds sourced from the hotel’s Mint & Pepper Restaurant. This initiative reflects the hotel’s ongoing commitment to eco-conscious hospitality and community engagement, offering a fresh perspective on waste as a medium for artistic expression.

The exhibition features a curated selection of paintings by young talents from Sanggar Lukis Dunia Gambar, guided by artists Pak Roy, Pak Sanja, and Iyusman Utomo of Tangerang Selatan Creative. Displayed in the hotel’s lobby and pre-function area, the artworks are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting children’s art education—a gesture that reinforces the hotel’s dedication to social impact.

Prior to the showcase, the children participated in a hands-on workshop, learning to transform everyday waste into meaningful art. The experience fostered creativity, curiosity, and connection, values that resonate with Mercure’s ethos.

As a Green Key Certified hotel, we’re proud to champion initiatives that support both the environment and the local community,” said Jessica Uekermann, General Manager.

The exhibition is open to the public for a limited time. Guests may contact the Front Desk team for inquiries or purchases.
