It’s a season of wonder, movement, and imagination—where theatrical storytelling meets playful luxury, and every step feels like falling deeper into the rabbit hole.
The Adventures of ALICE returns to Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau this summer, bringing its ballet-inspired magic back to the 360-degree Atrium Stage. After a dazzling spring debut, the show continues to enchant with playful choreography, bold design, and immersive storytelling—all under the creative direction of Septime Webre, whose signature flair reimagines classics with contemporary charm.
This season, the cast expands with ballerinas from Macau, the Greater Bay Area, and beyond, reflecting SJM Resorts’ commitment to nurturing young talent. “We’re building a professional platform where local dancers can grow alongside an international team,” says the company, as four Macau ballerinas join the residency for a rare chance to shine on a world-class stage.
The production’s dreamlike world is brought to life by Ballet Master Wei Wei, composer Ng Cheuk-yin, lighting designer Mak Kwok Fai, and Cirque du Soleil costume visionary Liz Vandal. Performed in the round, the show invites audiences of all ages into Alice’s surreal journey—where every pirouette feels like a portal.
But the adventure doesn’t end when the curtain falls. Guests are invited to join “Alice’s Fantasy Parade,” where beloved characters roam the resort, creating joyful moments for kids and grown-ups alike. Those looking for a keepsake can explore “Alice’s Dream Wonderland” and “Alice’s Enchanted Garden,” whimsical installations perfect for photo ops. Complete a retail challenge and share your snapshots to unlock an Alice-themed photo booth experience. The little ones were also able to participate in crafting glowing keepsakes at the “Sand Painting Candle Workshop” on July 13.
