Jameson Irish Whiskey is turning up the volume again with the return of Jameson Distilled Sounds, its global music platform now entering its second year. Back in Ireland, the home of Jameson, the project reunites with cultural icon Anderson .Paak, who’s not just curating but shaping the entire experience through his creative house, APESHIT INC. “This really is an opportunity for like-minded artists to come together, connect and learn from one another,” he says, describing the genre-blending lineup as “drill next to Amapiano, K-pop crossing over with soul… it’s not about hits, it’s about heart.”
This year’s cohort features over 20 artists from across the globe—India, South Africa, Portugal, Nigeria, Indonesia—each bringing their own sonic heritage into the mix. Indonesian singer Monica Karina calls it “an honor to represent Indonesia,” adding that the creative hideaway in Ireland is something she’ll carry with her for a long time. Jameson’s Indonesian team echoes the sentiment, with Brand Ambassadors Holly Johnston and Saphira Wardhana praising the program for spotlighting local talent on a global stage. Brand Manager Herjuna Rahman adds, “Monica’s voice resonates with the spirit of modern Indonesia… we hope this is just the beginning.”
The launch kicks off with a short film starring .Paak as the charismatic owner of World Records, a fictional record shop where he spins previews of the freshest new artists. It’s playful, stylish, and sets the tone for a summer of digital drops—from new tracks to masterclasses—rolling out on Jameson’s YouTube channel.
As Lynda Cody, Jameson’s Head of Experiences, puts it, “Jameson Distilled Sounds is where culture and collaboration meet.” With artists like South Africa’s Lloyiso, Portugal’s EU.CLIDES, Ireland’s Skinner, and Indonesia’s Monica Karina, the project celebrates the rise of non-English hits and cross-genre fusion. From Kazakh synth-pop to Malaysian alt-pop, this is music without borders—bold, smooth, and unmistakably Jameson.
The 2025 line-up is a genre-blurring collective of trailblazers: South African soul singer Lloyiso, Portuguese experimentalist EU.CLIDES, Irish drill innovator Skinner, and genre-fusing vocalists Mary Ann Alexander from India and Monica Karina from Indonesia. East Africa is represented by Kenya’s Xenia Manasseh and Kethan, while Nigerian American R&B force Manny Wellz, Namibia’s Kp Illest, Kazakh synth-pop pioneer Moldanazar, and Malaysian alt-pop artist Saint Kylo round out the mix. Each artist brings the essence of their local scene into something entirely new—raw, collaborative, and ready to resonate far beyond borders.
