For over two decades, Meradelima has honored the culinary heritage traditions passed through generations, becoming a beacon for Peranakan cuisine and Indonesian culinary excellence. This year marks its 21st anniversary as a prestigious Indonesian restaurant, beloved by culinary connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike.
Founded by Lily Admodirdjo, a passionate restaurateur and specialist in Indonesian traditional dishes, Meradelima is now led by the second generation: Faizal Admodirdjo as CEO and Carmelita Febiola M. Admodirdjo as Chairman. The restaurant continues to evolve, staying adaptive to the culinary industry while spotlighting Peranakan flavors and Jajanan Pasar, traditional snacks that remain relevant and healthy for both local and international palates.
Meradelima’s latest innovation, the Lemari Jajanan Pasar Peranakan Market, showcases beloved treats like Klepon, Talam, Kue Ku, and Putri Mandi, all crafted from family recipes with a modern twist. Complementing this is the Peranakan-style Afternoon High Tea, served on elegant Peranakan tableware, perfect for family gatherings, engagements, birthdays, and corporate events.
Coinciding with National Kebaya Day, Meradelima hosted a Peranakan Soirée in collaboration with Ghea Fashion Studio, celebrating its 45th anniversary. The event featured a contemporary kebaya collection by Ghea Resort, worn by inspiring muses across generations. Styled by Hagai Pakan, the looks blended cultural elegance with modern aesthetics.
Held at Sarinah Department Store, the soirée included a vibrant pop-up bazaar, workshops, and creative showcases, embodying Sarinah’s motto: “Back to Sarinah”, a tribute to Indonesia’s creative industry.
