
THE PUB at Harris Puri Mansion Jakarta proudly hosted its inaugural exclusive dinner event, “Savor and Shine”, featuring a meticulously curated five-course menu. The evening’s culinary journey was crafted by Executive Sous Chef Arif, in collaboration with Guest Pastry Chef Gerald Maridet, blending bold flavors with refined techniques.
Guests were welcomed in the lobby with elegant canapés accompanied by the soothing melodies of a live saxophone performance, setting a warm and inviting tone. As they settled into their seats, the ambiance came alive with live music, spanning nostalgic 80s R&B to today’s popular hits, adding a vibrant rhythm to the evening.
Chef Arif opened the dinner with a Charcoal Brioche Bun, paired with parsley cream cheese and homemade cheddar by Chef Gerald. This was followed by his signature appetizer: Avocado & Orange Salad with Prawn and French Dressing. Before the main course, guests were treated to a delightful Three Ways of Pumpkin Cream Soup, designed to awaken the palate.
The highlight of the evening was the 72-Hour Slow Cooked Short Ribs, served with cauliflower purée and two distinctive sauces, one of which featured a bold touch of coffee, an inventive twist that showcased Chef Arif’s creativity and precision.

To conclude the evening, Chef Gerald presented a spectacular fusion dessert served on glass, featuring Chocolate Ovomaltine Muesli, Earl Grey Cremeux, Strawberry Jelly, and Pistachio Ice Cream, a visually stunning finale that captivated every table.
