RIJSTTAFEL COLONIAL HERITAGE CUISINE: A NUSANTARA FEAST AT HARRIS PURI MANSION

In celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Month, Harris Puri Mansion unveils a special culinary collaboration with ABC Foodservice titled “Rijsttafel Colonial Heritage Cuisine.” Inspired by the Dutch-style family dining tradition known as Rijsttafel or “rice table,” this promotion showcases a rich variety of Indonesian heritage dishes.

Crafted by Chef Ben, Executive Chef of Harris Puri Mansion, the menu features three signature creations: Rabeg Lambshank, Soup Jamur Candi Sewu, and Woku Bakar Rahang Tuna. Joining the collaboration, Chef Dede presents Iga Sapi Selat Solo and Chicken Galatin, while Chef Surya brings a sweet twist with Kolak Pisang Karamel, Caramelized Colenak, and Shaken Wedang Mango Coco.

Reflecting the theme of Rijsttafel Colonial Heritage Cuisine, I’ve reimagined dishes once served to nobility, like the Soup Jamur Candi Sewu, adapted from classic mushroom cream soup,” said Chef Ben during the launch event.

Available from 15 August to 15 September 2025, this culinary experience can be enjoyed via dine-in or in-room service. Guests may choose the Rijsttafel package for four people at Rp. 450,000, or order à la carte with prices ranging from Rp. 40,000 to Rp. 175,000, covering main courses, desserts, and beverages.
